We give one-on-one attention in a cage-free, comfortable, and safe environment, ensuring that all dogs have their own private space while they get groomed and wait for you to collect them.
We offer a warm massaging bath using only environmentally friendly, high-quality natural products until they're squeaky clean. We hand-dry & style your dog for easy home maintenance or to your preferences.

Our Grooming Policy
Head 2 Tail Grooming Salon takes every care and precaution to ensure that your dog's grooming experience is as safe and pleasant as possible

Health & Medical Problems
​
Grooming can sometimes expose hidden medical problems or aggravate current ones during or after a grooming session. If anything looks 'not right', you will be contacted and a visit to your vet may be suggested. If any of these instances arise, Head 2 Tail Grooming Salon does not hold responsibility, therefore, all veterinary care expenses must be covered by the pet's owner

Accidents
​
There is always a risk when handling animals and all possible care will be taken. In the event of an accident or injury, we will perform first aid where necessary, we will contact you or discuss this on pickup. If Head 2 Tail Grooming Salon deems it as serious and you are not contactable, Head 2 Tail Grooming Salon will seek immediate veterinary care for your dog. Any expenses are the responsibility of the owner.
Head 2 Tail Grooming Salon accept dogs of all ages, including seniors and will not be held responsible for any dog that may pass away during a grooming session

Fleas
​
With tick and flea treatments readily available, we do not accept dogs with fleas. If in the event that fleas are found on your dog, the salon will need to be closed to avoid any other dogs going home with fleas. You will be contacted to collect your dog and a cleaning/flea bomb fee will be charged

Dangerous or aggressive dogs
​
​If your pet becomes too stressed or dangerous to groom, It would be in the best interest to terminate the groom session, you will be charged appropriately for the work completed to that point . We believe in setting a positive and enjoyable atmosphere, pushing through with a groom will create a dislike for any future grooming sessions. We will suggest to reschedule and discuss a plan to work together to improve the experience

Matted Coats
​
Keeping your dog free of matts is the sole responsibility of the pet owner
​
If you can't remove the matts, neither can we!!
​
Accidents and injury can occur when removing excessive matts & tangles. Head 2 Tail Grooming Salon will not be held responsible for any injury that may occur due to the removal of matts and tangles. It will be suggested to you that your dog will require a very short clip to remove the matts safely. (Don't worry, it will grow back)
​
Dogs with matted coats require extra attention, this will be explained to you when you drop your dog off. We will also explain how to maintain your dog's coat in the future. A matting fee may be charged.

Interruptions during Grooming
​
If you see your dog is still being groomed, please do not enter the salon or allow him/her to see you. They often get excited and too difficult to continue. If your dog can't settle enough to complete the groom, we will therefore have to terminate the groom and the full price will be charged
​
Cancellations and No Shows
​
Upon booking, you will receive a reminder and also a confirmation message. If you cannot make it to your appointment, please contact us directly.
Cancellations that occur less than 24 hours and no-shows will incur a full 100% missed appointment fee. If a regular appointment has been scheduled, this fee will be added, if not the fee will be invoiced to you and another appointment will be made after payment. If no payment has been made, all future appointments will be cancelled

Payments
​
Payment is strictly due at the time of pickup, unless arranged prior.
Prices are subject to change. We take all care to communicate price changes well in advance
​
Satisfaction
​
Your satisfaction and feedback is important to us. If you are unhappy with our service or would like some changes to the groom, please communicate with us when you arrive to pick up your dog. Once your dog leaves the salon, we will not be responsible for any occurrences whilst in your care. Any return visits, unless discussed and agreed upon, will be treated as a new appointment and charged accordingly

This release authorises that Head 2 Tail is permitted to take photos of any dogs that visit. These are used for our client file and for marketing and advertising by us.
